overgrown cuticles?

Concern

Overgrown cuticles detract from the neat outline of the nail, and can split to form annoying hangnails. Excessive growth of the cuticle can be systematic, but it is more frequently caused by a lack of attention to regular moisturizing and removal of excess tissue.

Solution

Once or twice a week, after removing your nail polish and shaping nails, gently massage a small quantity of Lightening Scrub Mask on bare wet nails and cuticles (for 10-20 seconds each finger). Rinse off with lukewarm water, using the MAVALA nail brush. Dry well with a towel. Follow with MAVALA Cuticle Remover to clean away dead skin and form a perfect nail contour, while rolling back cuticles.

Apply Cuticle Cream or Cuticle Oil every day to keep tissue supple and elastic. Never trim tissue away with cuticle scissors, as this could thicken the skin.
